Snorkelling is safe, fun and easy, it can be enjoyed by all of the family with the minimum amount of equipment and effort. It gives you the chance to access a world that is normally not seen by mankind. The wonders of the blue planet and the rich biodiversity of the Red Sea with its crystal clear warm waters and an abundance of corals and fish is a must for anybody visiting Egypt.
With the Orca Dive Clubs it is fun and easy to discover this fascinating world safely. Your local Orca Dive Club will supply you with all the necessary equipment to be comfortable in this marine environment. On checking in at the dive club you will receive your mask, fins, snorkel, wetsuit and snorkelling vest. One of our experienced staff will help you select the properly fitting equipment and then we will depart on one of our comfortable, spacious hard boats to the amazing reefs of the Red Sea.
On arrival at the reef your snorkelling guide will provide you with the information you require to safely explore this wondrous marine environment. Your guide will tell you about important safety procedures and the basic do's and don'ts of interacting in this fragile world.
Furthermore the guide will accompany you in the water showing you the true highlights for your enjoyment.
Snorkelling is a truly amazing activity that can be shared and enjoyed regardless of age, and with the help of your Orca Dive Club it will be a fun and fascinating experience. For those of you who want to gain more understanding, enjoyment and efficiency with the sport of snorkelling your Orca Dive Club offers snorkelling training. This 1 day orientation to snorkelling gives you all the required knowledge to fully explore the blue planet in total safety and comfort. With the many years of experience of the Orca Dive Clubs, you have the perfect partner to help you safely discover this amazing hidden world.
9.00: Check-in at the dive club to be issued with your snorkelling equipment ( wetsuit,mak,fins, and snorkelling
vest).
9.30: All aboard, your snorkeling gear will be loaded on to one of our spacious hardboats by our helpful and
friendly staff and then its ropes off. The cruise to Sandy Island will take approx. 30mins, and while you enjoy
the boat ride where we may be accompanied by dolphins, our crew will serve you hot and cold drinks.
10.00: On arrival at Sandy Island you will be immeadiately amazed by the tempting turqoise lagoon and stunning
sandy beach. After a snorkeling briefing/explantion informing you about what you maybe able to see in the
water, and some very important safety procedures it is time to go into the water. Our experience snorkeling
guide is in the water with you at all times to show you the wonders of the Red Sea.
11.15: After collecting many new and wonderful images in the first snorkeling experience you can now take time to
enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and discuss the fish with your fellow snorklers or just lay around relax and soak
up the sun.
12.00: Lunch time. The freshly prepared buffet lunch is now available for your enjoyment. This large and varied
buffet lunch offers a choice of fish, meat, various side dishes, salads and fresh seasonal fruits. With the
Chefs compliments, enjoy!
13.00: After lunch you will have the choice of going onto the island to discover the sand dunes, relax and swim in the lagoon, or enjoy a siesta on board the boat.
14.00: It is now time to get back into the water. After only scratching the surface of discovery in the first snorkelling
session it is now time to explore the parts of the reef that you did not see during your first session. Again your
guide will give you some more information and then its your turn to marvel at the wonders of the “blue planet”
once again.
15.00: After you have completed your second snorkelling session, our crew will welcome you back onboard serving
you with tea, coffee and cake. You then have time to enjoy and think of the wonderous images you have just
seen underwater. We will then set off for home and while slowly cruising back to the dive club you can again relax in the sun, enjoy the spectacular views out to sea and the mountains with the sun slowly setting behind, whilst sharing the days experiences with your fellow snorkellers.
15.30: You are back at the diving centre. Shuttle buses are ready to give our guests a safe transfer to their
particular hotel or resort.
On arrival backat the dive club, you will find your driver waiting for you, to transfer you back to your hotel.
