So we've all heard of Nitrox and Advanced Nitrox, but what's Trimix?
Trimix is a blend of oxygen, nitrogen and helium but you don't have to weigh yourself down with lots of tanks and dive ultra deep to breath it.

We here at the Orca Dive Club Safaga have now started to offer the IANTD Advanced Recreational Trimix Diver programme. This is aimed at those divers who would like to do dives with limited decompression obligations and enjoy the advantage of having a much clearer head at depth, because of reduced nitrogen narcosis. You'll be diving on a standard Tx28/25 (trimix with 28% oxygen and 25% helium) completing your decompression using a Nitrox50%. With this gas mixture your Equivalent Narcotic Depth (level of narcosis when using air) on a 40m dive is an amazing 19m. Definately a case of diving the wreck at 40m and remembering what you saw on your dive.
The cost of this 3 day course is 422,-€ when you book on-line. This includes all equipment, gases and dives. Price excludes certification.
